Children are grouped by age, but our classes are small enough that the teachers are able to allow the children to progress at their own rate and to offer additional assistance or enrichment when needed.

One of the things that I think speaks volumes about our school is the tenure of the teachers. Several have been with the school over 15 years, and ALL of the day school (2 1/2 yr olds+) teachers have been there for at least all of the 4 years we have been with the school. They all seem to truly care about each child, and they make a point to know all of the kids in the school, not just their class.

Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
