Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching
Description of how teachers work with children who are
"behind," "excelling" or "different" from the majority of students
Each child is validated for the current interests and skills shown for chosen tasks. Observation of this provides basis for continuing lessons which are documented. Children are encouraged to return to work which has been demonstrated in order to build skills. In this way every child is different from others and will excel in their own ways. Children like to succceed and also like a challenge. Working on challenging lessons provides new skills.
