Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching

Description of how teachers work with children who are  "behind," "excelling" or "different" from the majority of students

Due to our low student to teacher, our teachers are able to work with individual children and small groups of children paying close attention to children's interests, challenges and strengths. Through careful observation and documentation, teachers are able to plan classroom and outdoor activities accordingly.

Parents' Comments on Individualized Teaching

Parent #1
Excellent Music teacher, 1x per week. Playball and other after school programs available.

Parent #2
The teachers at this school are incredible, I don't have enough good things to say about them. The director of the school has repeatedly made incredible hires. The school also has a music specialist who comes to the classroom twice a month. She's very good, my daughter really enjoys the class. For the parent/toddler class, there is a parent educator who is extremely helpful. I enjoyed her advice so much that when my daughter graduated to the next class, I paid her to provide some parent coaching to me outside school.

Parent #3
Our teachers are FABULOUS, and use wonderful methods to deal with our children. When my son went in as we were looking at schools, he took a huge basket of legos and dumped it on the floor. A teacher at another school was visibily irritated; at this school, the teacher exclaimed, 'Wow! That was a big noise! Let's put them back in the basket...' She was great.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
