Our teacher this year clearly favored the girls over the boys and wouldn't take the time to make transition easy. She wasn't social or verbal for the whole first semester and she actually told my child to "worry about himself" when telling her a classmate hurt him.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
