Parents' Comments on Individualized Teaching
Parent #1
My son had 3 teachers his first year and 2 his second year. My son is one of the younger (summer baby) children and they were very caring in their discussions with me on where he was slower or behind the other kids and very helpful in helping me identify areas that I could help in and suggest methods to help him open up and participate more. They definitely took my feelings into consideration as a mother of a young child, but also felt strongly in conveying their observations. I've never felt intimidated or mislead by a single teacher at Shadow Rock.
Parent #2
We feel so lucky to know that each teacher our son has had has been extremely open to communication with us. We are encouraged to sit in and be a part of the class. We get regular updates from the teachers and have fun nights the teachers plan especially for each mom/dad/caregiver. Many of the staff have worked at the school for a very long time and go out of their way to get to know children who are not even in their classroom. They are friendly, nurturing, professional and highly skilled at dealing with children at different places in their development. I could not have asked for a better preschool for my child!
