School Philosophy and Mission
"The Boise Cooperative Preschool offers a classroom community where teachers and parents work together to support the childrens' explorations and discoveries. We provide a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children to develop socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.
There is emphasis on the process of learning rather than a specific result. Every child and parent who belongs to the Boise Cooperative Preschool is valued and supported.
Classes are offered for children 3 to 4 years old and for children 4 to 5 years old. Each class is conducted by a fully-qualified teacher, who has experience and a college degree in early education. All parents (or grandparents or other family members), take turns serving as classroom helpers.
Boise Cooperative Preschool was established in 1973 and is a non-profit corporation run by the parents, creating a nurturing and affordable preschool experience
