School Philosophy and Mission
"Our philosophies on the education of young children
Primrose Schools’ philosophies are based upon the belief that by providing each child with a secure, nurturing and educational child care experience—that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning—we can help to establish a foundation for lifelong success. That is also our mission.
As your partner in your child’s education, we are pleased to share with you the following exemplary educational philosophies we infuse into our Balanced Learning® curriculum and throughout every Primrose School.
A child’s limitless potential should be met with boundless inspiration.
Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.
We believe that every child has something special that can be built upon.
Great teaching balances telling children how to arrive at the answer with supporting them to find the answer on their own.
Learning is a treasure that will follow our children everywhere.
You’re never too young to learn something new.
Education is not received. It is achieved.
New technology doesn’t just affect how we teach. It affects how and what they learn.
Wise beyond one’s years can apply to four-year olds.
What a gift we give when we respect the child's natural need to explore, to reflect, to communicate, to dream, to celebrate!
