School Philosophy and Mission
Our preschool program provides playful, hands-on learning experiences that are based on the High-Scope curriculum. Qualified preschool teachers know what's expected in kindergarten and plan fun-filled activities that help children build the social and pre-academic skills they'll need later for success in school.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
As children arrive at 8:30 a teacher is there to welcome them.
The classroom is set up for children to choose a discovery center to work in. After about twenty minutes children clean up and come to the large carpet for circle time.
Circle time consists of counting, music, story time, literacy activities, etc., which will introduce them to the topic for the day.
At 9:20 children are dismissed to their small groups in which they will have teacher directed activities planned (including art projects, writing activities, math concepts, science, cooking, etc.).
At 10:00 we go outside for play.
At 10:30 children come in for snack, where they are able to help set the tables and serve themselves. After snack children can choose an area of the classroom to work in (example; blocks, dramatic play, writing center, library area, math or science area, etc.).
At 11:15 children clean up and come to the large carpet for good-bye circle time.
Parents arrive at 11:30.

Being Savvy Today
On My Own
We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida . It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
