School Philosophy and Mission
The Weedkday Early Education Program is an extension of ministry to families by the Schertz First Baptist Church. To effectively work toward the common purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, we commit to the following goals: to provide a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment that encourages each child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally and to provide a ministry to families and a witness of Christ and His church.
Our goal is to provide a positive first school experience. We want all our children to be successful. We believe in working on the important basics for any education program such as listening, following directions, sharing, sitting for appropriate times at circle, using words to express themselves, and learning social skills to make friends and have successful play experiences.
