"The mission of St. Albans Early Childhood Center (SAECC) is to provide high quality educational services and a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum for a multi-economic, multi-ethnic group of young children.

To achieve our mission, the following goals provide the foundation for our program.

To maintain a student body and staff that reflects the diversity of the greater
Washington metropolitan area.

To maintain and support cultural and linguistic diversity for the student body and the staff.
To provide educational opportunites for children from families in need.

To provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate, early childhood program.

To provide a curriculum, which is appropriate for young children and consistent with the way young children learn.
To provide a stimulating, clean, safe, and secure environment which allows and encourages children's individuality and creativity.
To provide up a learning environment which fosters growth and competence in all developmental areas.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
