"Tri-County Head Start helps families meet their children's educational, nutritional, health, social and emotional needs by providing a number of services in centers and homes by linking families with other service providers. Head Start programs are run by and for parents of the children that Head Start serves. Parents direct our policy, plan and budget."

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
"Listed below are the times your child may attend and the meals your child will receive based on the class they are assigned. Head Start is reimbursed for a portion of these meals through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
AM 3 hour session - 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Breakfast and Lunch
PM 3 hour session - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Lunch and Snack
6 hour session - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM: Breakfast, Lunch and Snack
Home Based - Children will receive a snack at PACT time sessions (held 2x month)
Snacks sent on Home Visits are NOT reimbursable."

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
