School Philosophy and Mission
"The East Valley Jewish Community Center Day School offers a challenging educational program which meets the criteria for state curriculum standards. High scholastic standards are maintained in a nurturing atmosphere that allows students to explore their potential.
Students at the East Valley JCC Day School study language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, Hebrew language and Judaism studies. Additionally, teaching specialists in Spanish, music, physical education and art work closely with our talented faculty to enrich core curriculum.
East Valley JCC Day School children have the advantage of small classes, enabling staff to individualize instruction, focus on each child's needs and strengths and provide a stimulating, enriched environment in which to learn and grow. Special care has been given to the development of curriculum and programs which will promote academic and social growth, positive attitudes, creativity, inquiry and respect for cultural and individual diversity. The East Valley JCC Day School's goals are to develop a foundation for life-long learning.
