School Philosophy and Mission
"Welcome to the Congregation Ner Tamid Preschool. Founded in 1978, the Preschool was established to meet the needs of families desiring a warm and nurturing preschool experience for their children. For children two years through five years of age, our preschool program integrates the High/Scope Curriculum which uses active learning to promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Our children are also given the opportunity to observe and experience Jewish rituals, joys, celebrations and customs so that they can develop their own identities as Jews. We have Friday Shabbat parties, a Jewish music program, hands-on activities and projects, family programs and more"

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
