School Philosophy and Mission
"Our Mission is to provide quality childcare in a safe, nurturing, respectful, family environment with developmentally appropriate practices in a home-like setting. We are an extension of each family providing children a home away from home.
We believe that children learn best through discovery and have a natural curiosity and eagerness for learning. Our program is based on the philosophy that children learn best when given the opportunity to experience a variety of organized hands-on activities. By taking a multi-sensory approach to learning, we provide developmentally appropriate experiences that meet the individual needs of each child at their own pace.
We strive to develop the whole child including social, emotional, intellectual and physical development in a nurturing, noncompetitive environment. Your child will learn independence, creativity, self-help and problem solving skills. He/she will also develop school readiness skills that will positively impact later educational experiences and promote a lifelong positive attitude toward learning.
By being actively involved in local and national early childhood associations, we continue to strive to improve the quality of early childhood education for children, families, and faculty. We remain abreast of current research and development in the field of early childhood education and promote changes for the betterment of the program."
