Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
"DAILY SCHEDULE:
6:30-8:00 Arrival and Comfortable Table Activities. Playdough, Puzzles, Books, Creative Arts. Children may select interesting classroom activities to engage their natual curiosity, imagination, intellect and group friendship socialization.
8:00-11:30 ACADEMIC LEARNING PROGRAMS: (All Classes)
*Structured Learning and Sharing Experiences using Manipulative Toys, Blocks, Make Believe and Science Areas with Choice of Learning Materials.
*Group Time, Singing, Finger-Plays, Calendar, Attendance and Discussion of Daily Topics listed in Curriculum Guide.
*Snack Time after Toileting, Hand and Face Washing and Table Setting. Clean-Up Afterwards.
*Group Games, Large Muscle Movements, Stretching, Exercise, Dancing to Music, Outdoor Play (in fair weather).
*Structured Free Choice PLay including Easel Painting, Building, Role Playing, Puppets, Table Games, Housekeeping and a Variety of Toys, Materials and Learning Equipment.
*Books, Library, Literacy and Story Time.
*Academic Curriculum Topics Explored and Learned.
11:30-12:30 Lunch Served after Toileting, Hand and Face Washing and Table Setting.
12:30-1:00 Nap Preparation and Lullabies.
1:00-2:30 Quiet Rest and Nap Time.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
