School Philosophy and Mission
"Jesus loves all His children unconditionally.
1 Concordia Lutheran Church, through the Early Child Care Center, works
together with families to know this caring Jesus.
2 We enable spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth.
3 We foster developmental growth of the whole child through active learning
and play. We help the children select experiences in language and music
arts, math and science concepts, literacy and reading readiness, social and
spiritual awareness, and physical activities that foster growth, strength,
and coordination.
4 The children develop an interest and joy in learning, working, playing,
and serving with others. The children and families, with Concordia's Early
Child Care Center, learn about and live in the love of Jesus our God, and
show their love for God, others, and self.

Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
