School Philosophy and Mission
"At ACCESS Schools, we use hands-on learning from Preschool through High School. Our unique curriculum pairs a phonetic approach to language development with the end result being the ability to read, write, understand, and articulate language and learn a full range of subjects.
The goal is to promote making healthy, responsible choices during the formative years. Each day, ACCESS students recite the character pledge, review the word of the month, and participant in reinforcement activities.
Our curriculum is designed to offer enriching activities beyond the traditional classrooms to promote social and emotional growth, physical fitness, social skills, independence, responsibility, and leadership.

A Season of Rituals
Darkest December is upon us, and we are all preparing, in our different ways, to light it up with rituals. Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's. Parties, tree lightings, and holiday cards. Visits with family. Feasts, gifts, and candles.
Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Get large plastic buckets (or sand buckets if you have lots of really little toys )in a variety of solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink). Ask your child to clean up his/her toys by putting the toys in the bucket corresponding to the color bucket. Great for teaching personal responsibility, color identification, and sorting.
