School Philosophy and Mission
"ultimate goal of Nauraushaun Nursery School is to provide each child with a positive learning experience and a good foundation for their future education. We believe that a child who feels good about himself or herself is ready to try anything. We use a positive approach at all times. Activities are introduced that are developmentally appropriate so that success is probable. Because our school is a parent co-operative, the children are exposed to adult parents and teachers, thus enabling them to adjust to new situations. This helps them to adapt more easily to the larger public school environment. Our aim is to make available to the community a non-profit preschool which will educate children and involve parents in their education. Nauraushaun Nursery School strives to uphold the highest standards in relation to the education, safety health and emotional growth of its students. There are four inter-related components that lead to the success of our program…the children, the teachers, the class and the parents"

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
