School Philosophy and Mission

"The Westwood Children's School offer a quality program which recognizes the holistic development of young children and therefore promotes their cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth. In doing so, the Westwood Children's School provides a stimulating environment with positive, nurturing care and a well developed curriculum. The School provides a variety of experiences and activities designed to encourage children to learn about themselves, their friends, and their surroundings. This is done in small and large group experiences, quiet times and active play, as well as indoor and outdoor activities. The strong commitment to good nutrition is reflected in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks consisting of fruit, vegetables, cheese, and 100% fruit juice.
