Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
"Preschool Daily Program Schedule
6:45 - 7:30 Opening, greet children, wave good bye to mommy and daddy, so many fun things for me to do!
7:00 - 8:30 Free Play -table toys, floor toys, special interest areas
8:30 - 9:00 Preschool begins with a circle time in my classroom.
9:00 - 9:15 Morning Snack
9:15 - 10:00 Readiness and Preschool: Preschool fun begins Teacher directed activity (check monthly curriculum calendar): phonics, alphabet and number writing for kinder-readiness, easel painting, play dough, activity centers, family home living, block area, tub toys.
10:00 - 10:30 Projects: Arts & Crafts, Science, Free Play, Indoor games, Music.
10:30 - 11:30 Outdoor fun with my friends.
11:30 - 12:00 Light Activities, such as: Stories, Songs, games, etc.
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
12:50 - 1:00 SHHHH, all of us are quiet as mice as we walk to go potty and find our cots.
1:00 - 3:00 Nap Time
3:00 - 3:30 It is time to get up, have a snack and we all get to go out side to play with our friends.
3:30 - 4:30 Outdoor Play
4:30 - 5:00 Afternoon Activities: Records, Cooking Projects, Tumbling Mats Balance Boards, etc. Songs to be sung, the more we get together, together, together, the happier we'll be, stories to read, "I want a pop-up book".
5:00 - 5:30 Fun Projects - Shaving Cream, Easel Painting, Circle Games, etc.
5:30 - 6:30 Relaxing Activities: Stories, Music, Songs, etc.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Help your little one to learn good manners by having a tea party. Set a table with your finest plastic ware and be sure to use your best manners. Modeling this behavior in playtime helps your little one to remember it at dinner time.
