School Philosophy and Mission
"Montessori Schools of Fremont apply the educational philosophy and methods of Dr. Maria Montessori and provide an environment for the realization of each child's maximum potential. Dr. Maria Montessori was a medical doctor and educator who developed her method on education over a forty-five year period during which she observed children and worked with them personally. Her understanding of scientific methods and unique focus on the prepared environment as the child's teacher, produced a revolutionary theory now known as the Montessori Method.
The Montessori concept of education allows children to experience the joy of learning at an early age. Intellectual, creative, physical, and social growth flourish. Each child works and learns at his own pace, and according to his own capacities in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Children of varying ages work together in the same classroom, stimulating both academic and social growth."
