School Philosophy and Mission
"Practical Life focuses on objects used where a child lives and which he sees and employs in his own home. These items are specifically made child size moving the child from simple tasks to more complex ones. They develop fine motor skills.
The Sensorial Area uses materials to help the child bring order and system to educate and refine a child's senses.
The Math Area develops concepts such as Numeration, Place Value, Fractions and the Basic Operations of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. The Language area develops Speech, Writing and Reading. The main tools used in Language are the Sandpaper Letters and the Moveable Alphabet to teach a child the Phonetic Sounds of letters.
Cultural Studies include areas in Botany, Zoology, History and Geography. The Children have their own garden to plant flowers and vegetables. The School houses a number of animals so that all children have the opportunity to care for and learn about Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Birds and Fish. The children learn about the 7 Continents and History throughout the School Year.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
