School Philosophy and Mission
The phiolosophy behind Cornerstone was built on the premise that Early Childhood Education should be a healthy balance between developmental and academic readiness. Creative learning, hands on age appropriate materials support children intitated activites and teacher-led activities. This school was founded by an Early Childhood Educator with over 18 years expereince and a mom who wanted the best for her own child and the community.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
Our core 1/2 day program is from 9-12:30. Children are greeted with a morning activity and a time to transition into school. Circle time follows in all classrooms and age appropriate learning and materials support various age groups. Outside playtime follows and then a morning snack. Our Art-Ademics learning time is when letters, numbers, concepts, science, cooking, library, music etc. all take place and again each program supports the curriculum for each age level. Another outside time follows and then lunch. Dismissal at 12:30 takes place after lunch time and for those continuing their day a quiet rest time/activity time is given. Our extended day program allows for pick up anytime up until 6:00 pm. There is an Extended Day Schedule that supports children having a longer day but this is NOT A DAYCARE! Come see for yourself!
