"Christ Lutheran Preschool extends the mission of Christ Lutheran Church into the Community by providing a quality, age-appropriate, balanced, hands-on learning environment.

We are dedicated to providing a high-quality educational program where each child is viewed as a unique and precious being that is allowed to grow at his/her own rate. We strive to guide each child towards a positive and strong self-concept. Our program aims to develop in each child kind and caring relationships, social skills, individual expression and a joy for exploration and learning.

As early childhood educators, our focus is on the development of the whole child in a loving environment that is respectful of childhood. We teach by love and example, empowering children to resolve conflicts by gentle and kind words, safe and gentle hands. We incorporate respectful discipline without use of time-outs or punishments, but instead time
to sit and talk. Our child-oriented, teacher-facilitated program allows each child to become a self-initiated, self-directed individual with a well-developed love for learning. A wide variety of experiences are provided to encourage growth socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We enjoy circle times, dramatic play, art, music, science, language development, math, cooking and outside play.

We serve the whole family by providing parent-teacher conferences, referrals for counseling when appropriate, scholarship support for families in financial crisis and family educational workshops that serve to educate and empower families.
