School Philosophy and Mission
"We believe that every child is gifted in unique ways. There is no such thing as an untalented child. As growth is uneven, strenth can be utilized to develop slower areas of expression.
Children learn to be designers of their own lives and leaders of others through choices and the consideration of consequences and alternatives.
Children have aninherent capacity to respond with sensitivity and responsibility to themselves,to others and to their environment,including the materials they use.This capacity is brought out by attention to these values.
Children are eager to discover who they are and what their potentials are. They need to be guided to express what is inside. Each child is individual in perception and needs to be listened to with respect and recongnized as a person of value. How the child feels about self is a most important daily value. This concept of self moves out into the world as the joy of discovery,the impetus to grow.
Children have minds;they can recognize what is impottant;they like to work,to strech and grow. A child who maintains a love of learning has a lifetime basis for success in whatever path is chosen,and reaps rewarding self benefits in self esteem and delight in life.
Children like to have fun-they are fun! They eant to be happy and enjoy and appreciate life each day.feelingloved and loving. Children reach out in social comraderie to other children and adults. They are capable of looking at social situation to discover better ways of interacting.
Children have a natural sense of their spiritual relationship with all life. Their sense of peace and union can be enhanced by attention to their inner feelings. They love to be in harmony with everyone and evering around them. They can learn to understand others and practice skills that will maintain that sense of harmony with all.

"Daily Schedule
7:00-9:00am-Morning Extended care program-Planned quiet activities as children arrive.
9:00-9:15am Morning Arrival Time for School Day-Greetings and "wellCheck",Welcome students&parents.
9:45-10:00am Snack Time-Cooking to learn.
10:00-10:30am Morning Circle Time Activities:Whole class-launage,stories.songs,music,movement,sharing
10:30-11:00am Activity time center-bases learning in small groups teacher introduces the learning center activities,and the chldren plan where they will begin and are free to move on to a new activity when ready.

11:00-11:30am Outdoor time(for accelerated 4's)
11:30-12:00am Outdoor time(for 3's and 4's)
11:30-12:00pm Teacher directed individaul; work time geared according to age and skill levels
12:00-12:30 Lunch time,outdoors,weather permitting in our natural playground,picnic,and garden area
12:30-1:00pm Clean-up,quiet time
1:00-2:45pm Rest time for 2's,3's,4's
1:00-1;30pm Acelerated 4's Activity time continued from morning
1:30-2:30 Accelerated 4's rest time
2:30-3:00pm preparing for dismissal
3:00-6:00pm Afternoon extended care program planned outdoor and indoor activites until. "

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
On a day when you plan to stay home, have everyone put together the wildest, wackiest outfits they can find and wear them all day. Pair some striped pants or crazy skirt with sneakers or flip flops and a Tiara. Everyone needs to join in. Choose a new 'character' name and be someone different for the day! Don't forget to take pictures!
