School Philosophy and Mission
"Recognizing the college preparatory orientation of the School, Lower School teachers strive to foster a challenging, supportive atmosphere. Teachers encourage students to develop their full potential and to understand their strengths and limitations. A variety of teaching methods is used to address diverse learning styles. Creative units of study are developed to enhance the basic grade level curriculum. Classes in art, music, library, dance, physical education, computer, Spanish, and science expose children to different ways of expression and experimentation. Through daily interactions, faculty members express a strong commitment to each child.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
