School Philosophy and Mission
"The Curiosity Shoppe and Toddler Center programs offer a Christian approach to early childhood education and care. Our philosophy is reflected throughout our curriculum, not in specific religious training, but through the importance and reinforcement of values -- such as family, truth, integrity, morality, expectations and respect -- steeped in Judeo-Christian history. Curriculum exposures include international culture, customs, and celebrations.
Our goal is to provide a quality education & child program that meets the developmental needs of pre-school children. Children pass through stages of development at different rates which occur in a predictable sequence. Their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth is enhanced when the stages of development are recognized. We provide a stimulating environment where children can grow and develop at their own rate, to their fullest potential.
The environment of the Curiosity Shoppe Education Center is one in which the children are encouraged to discover, explore, invent and create. Learning takes place through their senses and through their natural curiosity in relation to the world about them. Several multi-purpose areas are arranged in each classroom as special learning centers. Activities including water play, physical education and exercise, housekeeping, dramatic play, block building, art, music, science, cooking, stories, puppets, and nature. A variety of other activities are planned for unique learning situations.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
