School Philosophy and Mission
Children at the age of two are terrific learners. They are beginning to understand group play and become better at communicating their thoughts. Our curriculum emphasizes language development to help children turn their ideas into words and sentences. Skills are presented in a logical, natural sequence to encourage step-by-step learning, and your child will have plenty of group activities to practice social skills, such as cooperation, sharing and taking turns. Our teachers listen and make sure that your child is happy and having fun while learning. Special Features of our program is that your child receives a balance of nurturing playtime and learning throughout the day. Your child's mind will stay stimulated with monthly themes, providing a rich array of daily activities and a variety of experiences. Your child will always have something to do -- learning areas focus on dramatic play, creative arts, language development and sensory exploration. Your child will gain confidence, self-esteem and a love of learning. As parents, you will enjoy regular communication with teachers, including daily notes, so that you are informed about your child's day.

Being Savvy Today
On My Own
We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida . It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach
Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
