Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School

"2 Year old
FREE PLAYTIME: Time to explore and play with friends
CIRCLE: Story, finger plays, songs and games
SNACK TIME: Healthy foods and learning to clean up
LARGE MOTOR ACTIVITY: Gym Time: ride-on toys, balls, tumbling
Music Outside: to playground
TABLE TIME: Age-level crafts, painting, play- dough, crayons, chalk, educational toys, manipulatives, beads, blocks, puzzles, games, rice or water play
CARE & DRESSING: Prepare to go home

3's and 4's
FREE TIME:To enjoy activities with friends
CLEAN UP: Learn to cooperate with friends to pick up toys
CIRCLE: Calendar, weather, explore aspects of monthly theme, stories, attendance
SNACK TIME:Enjoy healthy snacks
ACADEMIC/ CRAFT TIME: Craft time will focus on learning skills to create craft/art work (glue, paint, small motor skills). Academic time will concentrate
learning the alphabet, numbers, concepts, etc.
GYM TIME: Students will participate in free play in gym or playground or in a game activity

Pre-K
FREE TIME: Time to interact with friends and investigate individual skills
CIRCLE TIME: Reading, working on academic concepts/monthly theme
SNACK TIME: Reenergize with healthy foods, cooperate in clean up
ACADEMIC/CRAFT TIME: Class may be split into small groups and will rotate to do craft and academic time. Crafts will focus on learning skills to create craft work. Academic time will concentrate on the alphabet, numbers and concepts

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
