School Philosophy and Mission
"A home away from home, chuck full of the ingredients that encourage learning! Warm & inviting, cozy nooks and busy areas. A computer station and tons of books to encourage language development. Puzzles, blocks, interactive games & toys, musical instruments and arts & craft supplies await your child's imagination.
Wide open spaces: Fresh air, sunshine & shade. Every child needs room to explore. Our large fenced in play areas are equipped with modern outdoor equipment away from traffic. Wooden swings & clubhouse, picnic tables, trucks, tricycles and more! Whether building a snowman or a snow fort, playing in the leaves or hanging bird feeders, your child will enjoy all mother nature has to offer.
We support a child's efforts to learn about themselves and the world around them. Children are able to thrive in a stable long term relationship with the same comfort of a home environment and in small groups where each child's needs can be best met.
Our toddler & preschool programs are full of lots of fun and learning. We boast an almost "television-free" environment. The t.v. is used during transition time of morning drop-off. Occasionally we will watch an educational program or a children's movie as a special treat.
You and your child are treated as part of a family, rather than just being another number in a large center. We regularily exchange information about your childs progress, and we provide opportunities for you to be involved in our programs.
We offer home-cooked, individually prepared meals. We provide and serve breakfast, lunch and morning & afternoon snacks. All meals meet the CACFP requirements.
Our staff continually increase their skills and knowledge by attending training. All staff personel are CPR and first aid certified.
Our program encompasses physical, emotional, social, cognitive and language developmental areas, where each child grows at their own pace. Our academic program focus is on language, math and science skills.
Conveniently located with easy access to major routes & highways.
Lastly, we provide many special events throughout the year that will surely add to your child's wonder and delight.

Being Savvy Today
Joy Through a Child's Eyes
It was a cold and soggy day at the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Cold, that is, for March day here in Austin. Of all the sights to see, my son spent most of our visit at the petting zoo. He picked out his
