School Philosophy and Mission
Our ultimate goal is to provide the best environment for the free and natural development of each unique individual! We have a profound respect for each child ! You will notice that we do not call our youngest students toddlers for toddling is not the most important thing they do! This is the most important part of a human's life. The most recent brain development research has proven what Maria Montessori scientifically observed more than 90 years ago. This is the time when children are absorbing knowledge from their environment (where the environment consists of the physical environment and the mental, emotional environment - the communication with other human beings - adults and children). It is the time of absorbing and discovering. Discovering their own self and the beautiful world around!
We will be calling our youngest students the discoverers!
We will join our discoverers in their journey of discovery and do some discovering of our own. For each individual for us is an unknown entity! Through scientific observation we discover who each child is and prepare the environment and the activities for each one to allow the natural drive for intellectual, mental and social growth to bring the joy of discovery!
Bluebonnet Montessori is a community
of people dedicated
to the creation of
the nurturing environment
which will ultimately provide children with:
Education for Life
Joy of Discovery
Love of Learning
Universal Values
Independence for Life

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
