School Philosophy and Mission
"to share the love of God in Christ Jesus with children.
MLCS was established as a result of the conviction that our Lord Jesus wants us to make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Triune God and teaching them to obey all that their Lord commands.
Therefore, by the grace of the Holy Spirit we seek:
...to communicate in word and deed the reality of God's great love. His unrestrained concern extends to every person He has made. We want every child in our care to know they are loved and forgiven by God on account of Jesus' death and resurrection.
...to teach the value of goodness by obeying what Jesus teaches and following the example He sets. Such obedience requires us to teach the truth of His Word in Scriptures and to emphasize the moral development of children.
...to develop the skills understanding, gifts, and ability of children in every aspect of life. God loves the whole person—spirit, soul, body, and mind—and Martin Luther Christian School strives to develop overall excellence in child development: intellectual, emotional, physical, and social, as well as spiritual.
