School Philosophy and Mission
"The early childhood years are referred to as the period of the “absorbent mind”. Therefore, it is essential to help children form the habits, skills, and attitudes that will lead to a lifetime of living and learning.
Now is the time for children to come to understand and experience the love and grace of God. Experiencing God's love through Jesus Christ is the beginning of our spiritual development.
Children have a deep sense of wonder, and it is here that we begin our studies with them in the areas of language, mathematics, science, geography, music, art, and everyday living. We believe in educating the whole child by meeting each child where he/she is developmentally. We provide a program that meets each child's individual social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
We believe God has spoken to us through His Word; therefore, Bible studies and prayer are a regular part of the curriculum.
We believe God has revealed Himself to us fully through Jesus Christ; therefore, we prepare our children to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
We believe God created us in His image; therefore, we respect the creative and unique qualities of each child.
We believe God created us with intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual capacities; therefore, we view students holistically and developmentally – nurturing and challenging the abilities of the whole child.
We believe God created us with gifts and abilities; therefore, we seek to identify each child's learning style and strengths and adapt our program to meet individual needs.
We believe God created the world in beauty and variety; therefore, we incorporate nature studies into our curriculum.
We believe God has created our inmost beings, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made; therefore, we teach our children to care for themselves by way of exercise, proper nutrition, and using everyday living skills."

Joy Through a Child's Eyes
It was a cold and soggy day at the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. Cold, that is, for March day here in Austin. Of all the sights to see, my son spent most of our visit at the petting zoo. He picked out his
