School Philosophy and Mission
Baylor School for Children was designed to provide a safe and loving environmentfor young children and to recognize the importanceof each child's family. The program nurtures each child's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth and works with parents to establish strong bonds of personal respect and positive suport for each other. Baylor School for Children's goal is to be available and responsive to the children and parents, and all policies, procedures and decisions are based on the best interest of the children in the program.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
Students may begin arriving at 6:00 a.m. and play until 7:45, when children move outside for outdoor playtime. Breakfast is at 8:15. Music is at 8:45. Pledge and Roll Call is at 9:05. Center Time is from 9:15-10:00. Circle and small group time is from 10:00 until 10:45. Outside playtime is at 10:45. 11:30 is preparing for and eating lunch. 12:30 is naptime until 2:30. Snack is at 2:45. Center time is from 3:00 to 4:00. Outdoor play is from 4:00 to 5:00. Snack at 5:00.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
