School Philosophy and Mission
"Spring Street Preschool addresses the needs of the whole child. We provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment to help each child become an independent, self-confident and inquisitive learner
Our Teachers provide developmentally appropriate activities using valuable input from the children in our emergent curriculum model. The curriculum fosters growth in all areas of child development—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. The way we plan activities, select toys, and materials, plan the daily schedule and talk with the children help us accomplish our goals and gives your child a successful start in school.
We are proud to have a wonderful, energetic, and committed staff of teachers who provide the highest quality preschool experience. Our teachers have college degrees in early childhood education or related fields. They are continually receiving advanced training and are dedicated to providing the children with a stimulating and challenging environment. A critical component of our school is an open and on-going dialogue between the teachers, director, and parents. A child's progress, needs and goals are regularly discussed between the teachers and parents to support each child and their family.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
