School Philosophy and Mission
"Begin with children where they are…" is a philosophy statement which is hanging on the wall at every Little People's College site. Assisting children to become the very best that they can be…is the most important expectation imparted to every Little People's College employee. Our mission is to provide the best possible program of early education and care available-a program where children are loved and where children and families feel safe, secure, and respected, enabling children to grow to their fullest potential physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Recognizing that each child is a unique individual with his/her own special talents, we have designed a program to assist each child to develop at his/her own pace, with lots of encouragement from the staff.
We provide a multi-cultural, socio-economic mixture to enable children to appreciate and to respect each other, regardless of background, home environment, or culture. Our well-rounded curriculum demonstrates and encourages sound health, safety and nutritional practices and provides an indoor and outdoor environment to promote physical development.
