School Philosophy and Mission

"Vision
Our broadest vision is a world that lives in peace, a community based on interdependence and respect for life and all people. Our vision for The Montessori Academy of Southfield is to have a community of supportive parents, dedicated teachers and joyful learners.
Mission
1. To lay an excellent foundation for future academic challenges.
2. To inspire a passion for education.
3. To nurture the curiosity, creativity and imagination born within us all.
4. To give a child a vision of the universe.
Goal
The Montessori Academy of Southfield's goal is to continue building on this foundation with strong academic materials so our children can withstand academic pressures in today's world.
"We believe that intelligence is not rare among human beings, nor is it fixed at birth. We believe that wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge correctly even at a young age."
