School Philosophy and Mission
"Mission:
St. Stephen Lutheran School is dedicated to making disciples of all nations by providing a caring, Christian, learning environment in which the love of Christ is shared daily with students and families.
Purpose:
St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Waterford, Michigan has established and maintained a Christian school as part of its mission and vision in carrying out God's directives in Matthew 28: 18-20 to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…, and in His command in Proverbs 22:6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
We adhere to the doctrine of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and teach that every student is a redeemed child of God, created as a unique individual, in order to fulfill a specific purpose in God's divine plan. We therefore strive to meet the needs of the individual child as they seek to develop a variety of relationships.

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
