School Philosophy and Mission
"Our goal is to help children become enthusiastic learners. We encourage them to be active, creative explorers as they move from one of our six rooms to another, each filled with a variety of play choices and educational activities. We believe that children learn best through play situations and that our role is to help them become independent, self-confident and inquisitive. We are very nurturing toward the children and recognize that they need to be comfortable in our atmosphere in order to grow and learn. We have a planned curriculum that identifies individual developmental needs in the following areas; Social, Emotional, Cognitive and Physical. The activities we plan for children, the way we organize the environment, select toys and materials, plan the daily schedule and talk with children are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give a child a successful start in school.
