I don't think there is anything I could have done. Skyline Preschool has a first come, first serve basis. We were just lucky to get in when we did.

Apply early! There are 32 kids enrolled in the program, with about half graduating to kindergarten each year. There is a strong 'repeat' enrollment among past/current families with younger kids. The waiting list is growing, but people move and plans change, so if you are really interested in it, particularly for FT, submit your application and see what happens in the summer.
