Advice from Parents to Prospective Parents on Admissions
Parent #1
I begged!
Parent #2
Nope
Parent #3
No, it is first come - first served.
Parent #4
I enrolled when my child was turning one. Now parents are calling sooner. The school is full for the year 2008-2009. I think they are enrolling for 2009-2010.
Parent #5
When my first started here, it was 1st come 1st served. Now there is a long waiting list. Call 1 year in advance. Call at least when your child is 6 months old.
Parent #6
no, - the timing was right.
Parent #7
No, the school keeps a strictly first-come, first-served waiting list. She does not "hand pick" families to fill her classes. All children deserve an excellent start in school. That's what she believes and that's how she conducts her admissions process.
Parent #8
School seems in much more demand than when we applied. Don't lose hope if waitlisted, eventually there will be some room opening up as the year ends. But also hedge your bets with alternatives.
