We were relaxed.

Turn in the application early.

I applied when she was 8 months old. We also live around the corner--which I think helps in building a stronger community.

Apply early. At the time when my first child attended applying at 2yrs old wasn't a problem, now you need to do it at birth!

I did write one thank you note to the director after the open house and I sent an application in when my child was around 1 year old.

It is a first come application process except when trying to balance boys and girls. I just got very lucky and applied in time.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
