We stayed on a waiting list through the summer and were accepted in July off the waiting list. We also said we were flexible about which program we would accept (AM or PM), and contacted the school directly to let them know we were still interested in the spot after the first round of admissions.

Make sure you understand the cooperative model. Parents work hard to support the mission of the school, and if you can make it clear to staff and admissions team members that you are looking for a school where you can dive in, get involved, and work well with others, that will help you.
