Savvy Source's Comments
"At CPPP, we own the building our preschool is in and the preschool is run entirely by our parents. Parent volunteers work on everything from gardening to this website. Below is an overview of the things we ask of our parents.
- Parents attend a mandatory monthly evening meeting.
- Parents must participate in two fundraising events per year. Enrollment in the CPPP e-scrip program and school-pop is also required.
- Work parties are usually held on a weekend for 4 hours. This is where a number of maintenance jobs, such as painting, putting up a new play structure, etc are done. Parents are also able to do individual projects rather than participate in a work party if they wish. We ask that parents participate in 1 work party (or equivalent) equaling a total of 4 hours per year.
- Parents are required to sign up for one position such as school librarian, emergency supplies coordinator, etc."
