Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The school could do more to include the parents in the classroom. BFS wasn't so welcoming of parents in the class nor did I feel like the administrators were that accessible.
Parent #2
Teachers make a home visit before school starts for the first year a child attends. Developmental/learning goals are incorporated into the routines and activities in a seamless way - children learn to contribute and participate in the classroom community, become learners and questioners through the materials and projects.
Parent #3
The teachers are very helpful in answering any questions. Also, some teachers are available as babysitters, and one took care of my son and another child in the summer.
Parent #4
BFS has very focused developmental goals for prek, but not learning goals which connotes a more academic approach. Kids are learning about the world artistically, scientifically, emotionally, etc...and this learning is both directed and nurtured.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
