My 2 and a half year old has been going to Kiddy Citi day care since early spring. It is a very nice clean place on the ground floor of a brownstone house .There is a small kitchen, living room set up as a play space, bedroom and a nice size backyard. It is a small family daycare. That was perfect for my then 18 months old. I checked many other places before I put my son in Kiddy Citi. They were too much for a little 18 months old who still needed his nap and a bottle... It is very safe and the caregivers are very responsible and nice. They do not have any structured classes for toddlers. That was the only reason I started thinking of transfering my son to another preschool because he got older and needed more activities during the day like more reading, music, etc. The kids eat breakfast, lunch and snack with juice and milk.. This daycare was a perfect place to be as transition to a bigger daycare/preschool.

Being Savvy Today
The Whole Wide World
It's a very big world out there , but sometimes life with small children can make the world feel as though it has shrunk down to the size of your own house and neighborhood . Small children are naturally most interested in what they can lay their bright eyes
Montessori? Waldorf? Play-based?
What school type is right for your child? Is one model better than another? What does the research say?

Today's “Preschool’s Out” Activity
Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
