I'm not sure exactly how to address the "separation process" you mention above because it was not an issue for our grandson (he loves being social) but I have seen other parents dealing with it and when I see the children over the next day or two they too are so happy to be at LGG and having fun and learning that I want to say I sincerely think it is pretty much a non-issue.

Trace around your child's foot, with shoe on, on a piece of white construction paper or card stock. Have child cut out the shoe print and add a spooky face. Glue it to a popsicle stick and you have a ghost stick puppet!
