Parent #1
I have never needed to drop by but at times when i was at school for events/set up etc I did sneak in to see how my daughter was doind and I was never discouraged, 'scolded'.
Parent #2
EB is a small school and thus the administration and teachers are familiar with all families. There are informative presentations regarding wide topics relevant to raising children organized by the Parent Association (from differences in children's learning process to internet safety etc...)
Parent #3
we are not encouraged to drop in in order to not disturb the class, and to not interfere with the children's emotions, but we can tell the teacher we would like to come and she will be very happy to tell us when it is best, and how to handle the changes due to a disturbance in the routine. All rules are very clear and comply with the european values in education, I found it excellent, some american who do not know of these values might not like it.

A Great Book Rhymes!
Kids are a funny bunch. They are often loath to change and anything new. But still, our little ones are open to so much -- and so much more than we more ossified parents are! Think of poetry: preschoolers happily read and repeat poems with ease and
