Habitot also provides parenting classes addressing a wide range of issues facing parents or young children including toilet training, setting limits, responding to tantrums, first aid and infant CPR. Childcare is provided in the museum while parents attend classes in our classroom annex. Prices for parenting classes are decided by sliding scale based on income, and childcare is $10 for the first child and $5 for each sibling.

Parents' Comments

Parent #1
There is little sense of community among the families. It's a large school, with large classes. There's no connections between new and old parents, no real structural opportunities to get to know other parents and kids. Advice on appropriate schools is weighted towards keeping kid at their school.

Drop-in Policy

- During school parents are welcomed as the school has an open door policy
