This year we are still not encouraged to stop by, but the atmosphere seemes less forbiding at Pierce. I know the teachers are busy, but I would appreciate a call or an email every once in a while to just informally check in on my son.

Regarding the services/activities question, BEEP connects families with outside services on an as-needed basis. A specific family may need a lot of guidance, which it will receive.

We are not specifically required to donate, but are asked at various times for help financially with classroom supplies etc.

There is a PTO and there will soon be a School Committee.

There is very little parent interaction except during pick up or drop off if by chance. The program as a whole has a PTO, but most of the parents are not as involved as we might be.

The PTO frequently distributes information of interest to our families through room parents, via e-mail, parent mailboxes and posting. flyers.
